Disneyland
I just returned from a family trip to Disneyland. The ages of those in our group ranged from 21 to 90! Not the typical scenario for The Happiest Place On Earth since there were no "children" with us, but that was OK. We had such an amazing time celebrating my mother's completion of 9 decades of life and everyone felt like a kid while in THE PARK! This is not necessarily a penny saver tip, but more a good mental health idea. Find a place to go where everyone can have fun and space when planning a family trip. At one point, we had 11 people maneuvering through the Wonderful World of Disney. By staying at a very close-by hotel, renting a wheel chair, and having lots of "Mickey Moments", we managed to have a wonderful time.
