Rolls

When I was a girl, my mother had a group of friends that shared recipes on a regular basis. "Never Fail Rolls" were my favorite. Whenever there was a "ladies" gathering (and there were many), I would hang around the perimeter hoping for a stray roll. Fifteen years later, when I got married, my mother-in-law made the same recipe and I reconnected with this childhood delicacy. I have been making the rolls for Thanksgiving dinner ever since. The great thing about them is that you can make them weeks ahead and then freeze them so there is no last minute stress. They reheat beautifully and taste like they were just made. The ingredients should be fresh and good quality, but making them yourself saves the $25 dollar bakery bill...and they are oh so yummy!
Miss Penny Saver Tip #30: Find a good roll recipe and make it for every special family gathering.
