Do Your Research

My daughter told me to get a Starbucks card. The local grocery store has a rewards program. My favorite pre-game restaurant offers membership to their club. All these things have perks! With Starbucks your purchases are tracked and once you get to the Gold level, you get coupons, discounts, and free stuff. I get a rebate check at the end of the year from the market based on a percentage of what I spent all year. After we eat a certain number of meals at Chicken Coop, we get $10 off-plus they have weekly email coupons that offer discounts on the specials. Miss Penny Saver Tip #39 know what the deals are and take advantage- it is worth it!

emails part 2...

One more thought on the getting of emails from stores you frequent. I try to buy things on sale, but if I don't, I can always check the sale section of the store's website to see if the item I bought has gone down in price. Be sure that where you shop gives price adjustments and know the time limits to make the most of this Miss Penny Saver Tip #38.

I was just reading my email when....

I saved $100 last week just by checking my email. A few stores send me updates and a dress I had bought at one of my favorites had gone on sale. That store offers the service of having a card that tracks all your purchase activity. I was able to get the price adjustment by just using the card without having the receipt or the item..Pretty sweet! Miss Penny Saver TIP: Get emails from your favorite stores and take advantage of any perks they offer...it will save you money!
